The industrial networking FMC module adds key interfaces to support a wide range of industrial, scientific and measurement requirements. From dual 1588 compatible 10/100 Ethernet PHYs, to CAN, RS232, and RS485, the ISM Networking FMC can quickly get you started with either Spartan-6 or Virtex-6 based designs.

The ISM Networking FMC Module is designed to operate with any Avnet or Xilinx base board that is FMC enabled. The module uses an FMC Low Pin Count (LPC) connector to interface to the carrier board. The industrial networking FMC module adds key interfaces to support a wide range of industrial, scientific and measurement requirements.

— (2) 8-pin GPIO headers (one per PHY)

— 9-pin female DB9 for RS-232 communications

— RJ-45 connectors for Ethernet communications

Miscellaneous I/O Connectors

— 6-pin Digilent header

— 6-pin PHY JTAG header

Memory

— EEPROM #1: used as module identification for FMC compliance

— EEPROM #2: used for EtherCAT configuration storage

Communication

— Dual IEEE 1588 compatible 10/100 Ethernet interfaces

— Dual CAN interfaces

— RS485 interface

— RS-232
