The EXP Video Module from Avnet Electronics Marketing offers designers a full compliment of “pro-sumer” level front end video functions. The EXP formatted module connects to any EXP enabled baseboard for easy integration and prototyping with various FPGA families. Functions included on the module address the mid-range of video processing applications. The EXP Video module provides video inputs for DVI, component, composite, S-video, and VGA. Video outputs are available in DVI, VGA, and LCD panel. The LCD panel support includes a standard 10-bit LVDS interface as well as an 8-bit RGB parallel interface. Two image sensor inputs are provided for either 10-bit parallel input or serial differential input. A stereo audio CODEC device enables audio input and output features, making the EXP Video module a true multi-media interface for FPGA-based processing.
