纹理特征提取方法综述

摘要: 图像纹理特征提取是图像纹理分类与分割的基础,广泛应用于医学图像、遥感图像等领域。对近期的主流纹理特征提取方法以及融合方法进行了分析与总结,并探讨了纹理特征提取方法未来的研究方向。首先详细介绍了12个主流的公开纹理数据集的特点及其适用场景;接着总结了近几年出现的一些纹理特征提取方法,并根据特征融合方式从多个角度对纹理特征融合方法进行了分类介绍;最后总结了纹理特征提取存在的难点和挑战,并对未来的纹理特征提取方法研究方向进行思考和讨论。

A review of texture feature extraction methods

Abstract: Image texture feature extraction is the basis of image texture classification and segmentation, and is widely used in medical images, remote sensing images and other fields. The recent mainstream texture feature extraction methods and fusion methods are analyzed and summarized, and the future research direction of texture feature extraction methods is discussed. Firstly, the characteristics of 12 mainstream public texture datasets and their applicable scenarios are introduced in detail. Then, some texture feature extraction methods that have emerged in recent years are summarized, and the texture feature fusion methods are classified from multiple angles according to the feature fusion methods. Finally, the difficulties and challenges of texture feature extraction are summarized, and the research direction of texture feature extraction methods in the future is considered and discussed.

0 引言
自20世纪60年代以来,许多研究者开始对图像的纹理分析研究。纹理特征是图像的重要特征,在图像识别中发挥重要的作用。对于人类视觉来说,区分纹理并不困难。但目前对于纹理还没有一个明确的定义,一般认为它是由许多相互关联且周期性重复的单元构成的。纹理具有局部序列性不断重复、非随机排列、纹理区域内大致均匀等特点。
